Julie is the co-founder and Australian Champion of ENVestor

She is the Chief Executive Officer of Healthy Land & Water. She has held this role since its inception in 2013 as an accomplished Executive with significant leadership and General Management experience.

Julie has over 11 years as CEO with a focus on creating profit for purpose. An expert in waterway management, governance, strategy, risk, and company finance.

Prior to her role at Healthy Land & Water, Julie held senior executive positions in Local Government spanning nearly 30 years and was responsible for portfolios including research and business development, innovation, service delivery, and design.

Julie is as a versatile critical change leader focused on growing or developing businesses.

She has a strong and extensive track record of leading, developing and implementing strategic change, particularly in local government, the not-for-profit sector, and the water industry. With science degree qualifications, and a diverse portfolio of other relevant professional and business designations, including being a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Julie has built an extensive global network dedicated to solving natural capital financing to attracting corporate investment into nature-based solutions.

As CEO and champion of our RAP, Julie's committed to leading by example in Closing the Gap and encouraging the advancement of Australia’s First Nations peoples. She has overseen the delivery of the company's first innovate RAP and successfully integrated numerous policies and practices which support the advancement and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Julie is passionate about improving the quality of landscapes and waterways in South East Queensland through strategic initiatives and productive partnerships. She understands the importance of collaboration and enjoys working closely with all levels of government, industry groups, and community members on initiatives that ensure South East Queensland is protected for future generations.
